Armed Boundary Ball (SSB).
The Armed Border Force (ASB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1522 constables in various occupations - drivers, lab assistants, veterinarians, cooks, washermen, etc.

Trade-based vacancies:
Educational and professional qualifications:
1. Constable (driver) for men only:
i) Matric or equivalent from a recognized board.
ii) Must have a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
2. Constable (Laboratory Assistant):
i) Matriculation with Science from a recognized board or institution.
ii) Must have a certificate in Laboratory Assistant Course from any recognized Central Government or State Government.
3. Constable (Veterinary):
Required: Science from a recognized board or university is required to pass the tenth or matriculation examination as the main subject.
Desired: One year of experience in treating different species of animals in a recognized veterinary hospital.
4. Constable for Women Only (Ayah):
i) Matriculation with Science from a recognized board or institution.
ii) Certificate of passing first aid examination from Red Cross Society should be obtained or die trained.
iii) One year of experience in a relevant field.
5. Constables (Carpenters, Plumbers, and Painters):
i) Matric or equivalent from a recognized board.
ii) two years of work experience in related trade; Or
iii) Certificate course with at least one year of experience in one-year individual trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute; Or
iv) a two-year diploma from a recognized industrial training institute in self-trade or similar trade; And
v) Must qualify in the trade test
Const. Constables (cook, washerman, cleaner, barber, water carrier, waiter, tailor, gardener, and twister):
(A) Matric or equivalent with the recognized board:
(i) two years of work experience in their respective business;
(iii) Two-year diploma from a recognized industrial training institute in the trade or similar trade.
(B) Must qualify in trade examination. Many skilled candidates will get preference.
Age:
* Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years.
* Constable (Lab Assistant, Veterinary, Ayyah, Carpenter, Plumber, and Painter): 18 to 25 years.
* Other Trades: 18 to 23 years.
Selection Process: SSB selection will be on the basis of written test / PST / PET/interview.
Application Fee: Uncovered, EWS, and OBC candidates will have to pay Rs. 100 / - (One Hundred Taka) Net-Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / Invoice Fee-Only (Non Refundable). However, SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen and female candidates are exempted from paying fees.

Last date for receipt of application: The last date of receipt of application will be 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in employment news except for remote areas.
Himachal The Union Territory of the Nicobar Islands and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep will be 3 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News, but it will not affect the crucial date for setting eligibility criteria.
